My first-ever real framing job. I made spacers for the float from balsa wood.

table top

I laminated this table top together in 1994 and (stupidly) urethaned it. This month I stripped it, re-shaped it into a better shape, waxed it and added some legs. Legs from Etsy; all work done solely with hand tools! Very incomplete album here.

Sandy side table

The wood is from a storm-damaged London Plane Tree that partially fell in Washington Square Park. Thanks to Ross Fadely for helping me haul the log back from the park, and thanks to PMC for use of his chainsaw! (Slightly better photos here.)
